The Senate of Economics has a new member: Together with the committee Dr. Mark Misselhorn will promote its work oriented towards the public interest.<\/p>\n
Dr. Mark Misselhorn will represent CAPHENIA as Senator in the Senate of Economic Affairs in Germany. The Chairman of the Board of the Senate of Economics, Honorary Consul General Dieter H\u00e4rthe, and President Prof. Dr. Dr. Franz Josef Radermacher awarded Dr. Misselhorn the corresponding certificate of appointment in May 2020.<\/p>\n
The Senate of Economy consists of individuals from the fields of economics, science and society, who are entirely aware of their responsibility towards state and society. Together they contribute to the practical implementation of an eco-social and sustainable market economy that is oriented towards the common good. They are ambassadors of the Senate and through their membership, they contribute to implement the aims of the Senate with respect to political, economic, cultural and media related decision-makers.<\/p>\n

The Senate of Economics sees itself in the tradition the traditional idea of the Senate in ancient times. A well-balanced circle of friends with an independent mind strove for public good, and not merely personal interests. The ethical principles of the Senate should be a foundation and a guideline for the economic activity of the members of the Senate.<\/p>\n
Equity and partnership in commercial life, social skills of enterprises and leaders shape the work of the Senate. The initiators, along with many other experts, are the honorary senators Sigmar Gabriel, Jean-Claude Juncker, Prof. G\u00fcnther Verheugen, Prof. Klaus T\u00f6pfer and Rosi Gollmann.<\/p>\n
