CAPHENIA’s technology: potentially groundbreaking
Power-to-liquid fuels can be produced in two ways through Fischer-Tropsch and methanol-to-jet. In both cases, a first step is needed to produce syngas.
CAPHENIA is experimenting with new and potentially disruptive technologies that blur the lines between PtL and other SAF pathways. CAPHENIA can change the fuel landscape by offering potentially cheaper and more efficient solutions for capturing and using CO2 for jet fuel. They produce syngas (carbon monoxide and hydrogen) in a novel way in a three-in-one reactor zone.
CAPHENIA begins final construction phase of the demo plant “GERMANY I” at the industrial site in Frankfurt-Höchst.
The Bavarian clean-tech company CAPHENIA has successfully reached a significant milestone: The custom-built reactor with its unique Plasma-Boudouard technology (PBR) has been transported to the production site at the Frankfurt-Höchst industrial park, where it is now being integrated into the existing facility.
CAPHENIA GmbH and US based Emerging Fuels Technology, Inc. announce MOU to optimize scalable Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) production.
To capitalize on the fast growing demand for SAF, CAPHENIA GmbH, a pioneer in the development of sustainable synthesis gas technologies, and US based Emerging Fuels Technology, Inc. (EFT), a global leader in Fischer-Tropsch synthesis, are pleased to announce they have signed a memorandum of understanding to integrate their technologies for the production of SAF and renewable diesel.
