As of June 30, 2025, Dr. Helge Sachs has decided to step down as Chief Commercial Officer of CAPHENIA GmbH. Dr. Mark Misselhorn will take over his responsibilities in this area.
Dr. Sachs has accompanied CAPHENIA through a crucial phase of its development, providing significant impetus for the further development of its commercial activities. With his exceptional commitment and strategic vision, he has made a significant contribution to the commercialization of CAPHENIA’s power-to-liquid technology both in Germany and internationally.

Dr. Christian Librera Appointed New Chief Operating Officer (COO) of CAPHENIA
As Chief Operating Officer (COO) of CAPHENIA, Dr. Christian Librera is responsible for the operational implementation and industrial scaling of the CAPHENIA technology. His focus is on transferring the innovative Plasma-Boudouard Reactor Technology (PBR) from the pilot plant to industrial scale and building an efficient production infrastructure for renewable fuels.
