CAPHENIA – Finalist of the German Innovation Award 2021
Around 200 applicants competed for the coveted award from Accenture, EnBW and WirtschaftsWoche. The German Innovation Award was presented for the twelfth time. CAPHENIA convinced the top-class jury with its power-and-biogas-to-liquid (PBtL) process and its development of the CAPHENIA 3-in-1 zone reactor. On June 25, the winners were honored for their trend-setting innovations at a festive event in Düsseldorf, which this year was also broadcast digitally via livestream. In the Startups category, CAPHENIA achieved an outstanding final place among the top three winners.
Well-known personalities from science and business, such as Peter Altmaier, Federal Minister for Economic Affairs and Energy, drew a positive picture of the future for Germany as a development location, and stated that the culture of innovation has potential for scaling and expansion. The nominees of the German Innovation Award 2021 prove courage in this respect and make technology “Made in Germany” attractive again for investors from Germany and abroad.
Beat Balzli, Editor-in-Chief of WirtschaftsWoche, honored the pioneering spirit of the finalists: “With the German Innovation Award, WirtschaftsWoche is honoring for the twelfth time groundbreaking products and technologies from companies that secure the future viability of the business location in global competition. Thanks to courage, perseverance and inventiveness, the award winners repeatedly achieve extraordinary things. By honoring their visions, the Innovation Award aims to lay the foundation today for sustainable progress tomorrow.”
CAPHENIA congratulates all the winners of the German Innovation Award 2021 on their award.
