Future in the Making – CAPHENIA and MAN continue their long-standing cooperation
MAN Energy Solutions is one of the most renowned plant manufacturers in the world and has a wealth of experience in the construction of chemical reactors. A look at the future technologies in MAN Energy Solutions’ portfolio, including the storage of solar energy by molten salts (MOSAS), the compression of CO2 for storage (CCS) or the broad field of power-to-X technologies makes it clear what role MAN can play in the energy system of the future.
We are therefore all the more pleased that we are continuing our long-standing cooperation and that MAN will continue to participate in the development of our innovative reactors for the synthesis of renewable fuels. The remarkable production capacities at the Deggendorf site will make it possible to produce both large numbers of reactors and highly scaled reactor sizes.
CEO Dr. Mark Misselhorn had the opportunity to discuss the high potential of producing renewable, synthetic fuels for air and rail transport or other areas of mobility from biogas, CO2 and renewable electricity with site manager Norbert Anger and the two members of the Bundestag Thomas Erndl and Alois Rainer on site. ReFuels will be a central component of the energy transition.
CAPHENIA begins final construction phase of the demo plant “GERMANY I” at the industrial site in Frankfurt-Höchst.
The Bavarian clean-tech company CAPHENIA has successfully reached a significant milestone: The custom-built reactor with its unique Plasma-Boudouard technology (PBR) has been transported to the production site at the Frankfurt-Höchst industrial park, where it is now being integrated into the existing facility.
CAPHENIA GmbH and US based Emerging Fuels Technology, Inc. announce MOU to optimize scalable Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) production.
To capitalize on the fast growing demand for SAF, CAPHENIA GmbH, a pioneer in the development of sustainable synthesis gas technologies, and US based Emerging Fuels Technology, Inc. (EFT), a global leader in Fischer-Tropsch synthesis, are pleased to announce they have signed a memorandum of understanding to integrate their technologies for the production of SAF and renewable diesel.
